What you need
- A Quilty account with at least one completed analysis
- Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or another MCP client
Connect from Claude.ai
- Open claude.ai and go to Customize → Connectors.
- Choose Quilty from the directory (or Add custom connector and enter the server URL below).
- Sign in with your Quilty account and approve access.
- Ask Claude about a completed analysis — for example, “List my Quilty analyses and summarize the Quilty Score for the latest one.”
Claude uses Quilty login (OAuth). You do not paste a token for Claude.ai.
Server URL
https://quilty.app/api/mcp
Transport is Streamable HTTP. The same URL works for every user; each connection is scoped to the Quilty account that signed in.
What Claude can read
- List analyses — completed reports you own, with title, year, and score
- Analysis manifest — section index and approximate sizes (not the full report)
- One analysis section — paginated chapter text; Claude should fetch only what it needs
- Quilty Score — diagnostic score, confidence range, and pillar breakdown
- Screenplay metadata — title with year, page count, genre, content type
- Scene search — semantic search over your uploaded screenplay text
All tools are read-only. The connector cannot upload scripts, start analyses, change settings, or spend credits.
Claude Code and Desktop
Mint a personal token at Settings → Claude connector. New tokens are shown once and emailed to your account. Use the generated Claude Code command or Desktop config on that page. Revoke a token there at any time.
Privacy
Connecting Claude authorizes that client to request analyses you already own. Quilty returns only your data. Conversation handling after that is covered by Anthropic's privacy policy. Details: Quilty Privacy Policy.
